Frequently Asked Questions

What is Bible Study?

We study the Bible!

Guided by knowledgeable discussion leaders, we explore the important lessons contained within the pages of the Bible and how they can be implemented in our life.

Personal life stories of facing and overcoming life challenges through wisdom learnt from the Bible are also often shared.

When do you meet for Bible Study?

This semester (2024 Winter), we are meeting every Thursday evening, 6 – 8 PM.

Where do you meet for Bible Study?

We meet on campus, in UofT’s OISE (Ontario Institute of Studies in Education, 252 Bloor St W) building. This building is on the north end of the university premises, and is located right above the St. George TTC subway station.

This semester (2024 Winter), we are mostly meeting in room 4418, which is located on the 4th floor.

I don't know anything about the Bible. Can I still join you?

Of course! Anyone is welcome to join us regardless of background, culture, religion, or faith. As long as you are interested in learning the Bible together with us, you are welcome anytime.

I'm not able to make it every Thursday. Is that okay?

For sure! While we do encourage you to try to come as regularly as you can, we also understand that you may have many different activities and responsibilities that you are trying to balance. Feel free to come whenever you are able to.
