“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” (1 Cor 16:13-14)
Paul closes his letter to the Corinthian church with instructions and plans regarding various people (1 Cor 16). There are plans for a contribution to the church in Jerusalem which has been affected by the famine. There are Paul’s plans of visitation. There are updates on Timothy and Apollos, and greetings from various individuals. Through Paul’s writing we see a glimpse of the love and care within the early Church that extends across places and people.
