🌟 From the Inside Out (1 Corinthians 6)

When you pause to reflect and examine the choices you make in life, you will see your true values and beliefs reflected. This is why in 1 Cor 6 Paul asks the Corinth church, “Do you not know?” For if you know, then why do you choose to behave otherwise?

As Christians, we ought to be of one body and one spirit with Christ, glorifying God with who we are. By choosing to bring one another before the court of the unrighteous, those in the church showed that they did not actually want the ways of God. Yet God made man a little lower than the heavenly beings, to rule over the works of His hands (Psalm 8:5-6). It is for the purpose of imparting His will amongst His creation that God made man.

Let us each day continue, by God’s power, to train ourselves to walk in righteousness, and to choose what is profitable for the kingdom of God. In this way we may be made worthy of one day even judging angels 🪽!
