Matthew was a tax collector, so he probably did like math. Not sure if his favorite color was blue though.

Even though Matthew started off as someone that was seen as traitor (by collecting money from his own countrymen to give to their Roman oppressors) he eventually meets Jesus and decides to change, becoming one of Jesus’s close disciples.

Matthew later records in a book the things he saw Jesus say and do. This is the book we are reading together right now in our club!
