We need the sun! When the sun is shining, we are filled with warmth, we can see with its light, and all the plants get their energy to make food for us.

Jesus came with the same purpose. In a world where we are lost and confused in knowing what’s really good for us, Jesus wants to help us see things clearly and no longer walk in the dark. He wants us to be filled with life, and spiritually properly nourished.

Jesus is also called the Son of God, reflecting the closeness of his relationship with God. What he sees his heavenly Father do, he also does, and what his Father teaches him to say, he speaks.
