🌄 Tree of Life (Genesis 3:24)

God drove man out of the garden of Eden, and placed an angel with a flaming sword on the east to guard the way to the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:24).

After man had sinned, God could have destroyed the Tree of Life to prevent man from ever accessing it. But the fact that the Tree was preserved means that there is still hope, that God still intends for us to one day eat from the Tree and have everlasting life.

But not everyone will be able to get to the Tree. Only those who have passed through the flame, taking the difficult path, conquering over evil, will finally reach the Tree. Do we see the value of the Tree? How far are we willing to go in order to grab hold of the life that God wants for us?

And that’s a wrap for 2023!
