What kind of person are you?
In last week’s Bible study, we saw how God took notice of Abel and his offering, but not Cain and his offering (Genesis 4:1-9). What catches God’s attention is not just what a person gives, but also what kind of person they are.
Cain wanted to be noticed by God, he offered things to God, and definitely wanted to please God. But Cain was quick to anger, easily controlled by his emotions, and does not take heed of God’s warning. This is not the kind of person that God wants to see.
