šŸ‘• Old and New (MarkĀ 2:14-22)

Have you ever tried to sew a patch onto an old article of clothing? Or have you ever tried to put new wine into old wineskin? What does Jesus mean when he talks about these?

In Mark 2:14-22, we saw how you can’t bring your old life into the new life with God, because the old is incompatible with the new. If your old life tries to take in the new life, then your old life will break apart.

If you want love, joy, peace and such from God, you need to give up the old life and pursue a new life with God, being filled with His spirit.

Don’t ā€˜wine’ about the old life when you walk into a new life with God! šŸ˜ Hopefully we can see that the new life is so much better than the old life.
