šŸ– Day of Doing Good (MarkĀ 3:1-12)

Have you ever been blocked before? It could be roadblocks on your way of going somewhere, or blocked eyesight preventing you from seeing clearly.

Last week, on a Sabbath day, Jesus healed a man who had a withered (dried) hand as something was blocking the blood/life from flowing to the hand (Mark 3:1-12). The religious leaders were waiting expectantly to catch Jesus doing such an act on a Sabbath, for according to their understanding it was illegal to do any work on the Sabbath day. Jesus however, through healing the man’s hand, showed them that Sabbath is meant to do good.Ā

God’s intention for us is also to do good and the only way to do so is by going back to God, for God is the source of all goodness. We need God to unblock whatever that is blocking us, so that God’s life can flow through our lives and change our lives to be good and to do good.
