šŸ”Ø Have Faith (MarkĀ 6:1-13)

What does having faith mean to you?

We saw two instances of faith in Mark 6:1-13—faith by listening and understanding, and living by faith.

In the first instance, Jesus went back to Nazareth, his hometown, after healing the woman with the hemorrhage and Jairus’ daughter. Although he was back in his hometown šŸ”, even though he preached the gospel there, he saw that the people there had a lack of faith because they only saw Jesus as a carpenter šŸ”Ø and not the Son of God.

In the second instance, Jesus sent his twelve disciples out, two by two, to preach the gospel and ward off any unclean spirits in various villages. They learned to live by faith in God because they were instructed by Jesus not to bring anything – no food šŸžšŸ„, no bag šŸŽ’, no money šŸ’° – except a staff.

Sometimes, it may be easy for us to brush off other people experiencing God, disregard and be disobedient to God’s word, and even not listen to God, Himself. But if you want to experience God’s power in your life, you need a transformation in your heart ā™„ļø  so that you can accept and understand God regardless of the medium we receive His word through without any prejudice! Though this transformation can only be possible through God.

Are you willing to live by faith and experience God’s power in your life? šŸ™
