šŸž Healing Crumbs (MarkĀ 7:24-30)

Last week we looked at the demon-possessed little girl (Mark 7:24-30). How does someone become demon-possessed? Why was the daughter possessed but not the mother? We see that perhaps it has something to do with their environment and what the parents are involved in.

What can we learn from this passage? We can see some things from what the woman says to Jesus, ā€œYes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table feed on the children’s crumbs.ā€ The woman is in the same area as Jesus, ā€˜the table’. The woman has faith that even just the crumbs is enough to save her and her daughter. We also learn that God can use us at any time, even when we are on vacation and don’t want to be seen by people.

Our actions don’t just affect us but can affect those around us. But when we are in the presence of God, we can overcome things, with even the smallest of crumbs from Him.

We all ā€˜crumble’, but with God we can overcome!
