Have you ever thought to yourself, āI shouldnāt ask this questionā? Or, āIām confused, but I shouldnāt mention itā?
InĀ Mark 9:30-50, we see that Jesus wants us to ask the questions that are troubling us. He wants us to seek the answers. While the disciples were hesitant to ask him, Jesus knew what they were thinking about and helped answer them. Those who ask questions are the ones who learn the most and can help others to learn also. God wants us to search and ask questions to understand and to grow in His ways.
What does it mean to be a leader?
In Godās kingdom, we see that leadership isnāt about people serving the leader but, funny enough, the leader serving people. Jesus tells his disciples that the least among them is the one who is first in the kingdom of God.
Perhaps we are okay with serving others when they are of higher status or importance, since that will serve us in the end. Yet God calls us to serve those that are insignificant, those that usually nobody gives a second thought about.
Letās all strive to further the ever-ālastā-ing kingdom of God, and to serve one another as how God wants us to.
